Sounds like an average prom checklist for prom night, but these aren't teenagers celebrating the end of a high school career. These are pro (and some semi-pro) partiers and this is Vegas Prom -- one of the year's hottest, sexiest parties.
Dubbed as the "Senior Year," the 4th Annual Vegas Prom throws down on Sept. 29 under the stars, seaside at Bare Pool Lounge with the official after-party at Jet.
Complete with a Queen and King, the Vegas Prom brings back the schmaltz of a classic prom, but as the organizers Kalika Moquin and Bo Karlen describe it, "This time there is no curfew and you're (hopefully) not a virgin! (It's) prom with money where the punch already comes spiked."

It's Senior Year at the 4th Annual Vegas Prom
Vegas "Sports" That Should Be in the Summer Olympics
Well, if everyone could get past the 120-degree August heat. There isn't as much pollution as Beijing and where some cities have trouble building out their Olympic facilities, Vegas already has some world-class facilities and whatever is lacking, could be built in a matter of weeks.
I guess it's a long shot that Vegas could ever host the Summer Olympics, but that doesn't mean that future games couldn't benefit from the addition of a few Vegas "sports." I'm not talking about horse racing or even poker, for those that consider playing cards a sport.
These sports are at the very core of a memorable Vegas experience and would definitely add some sex appeal (beyond beach volleyball) and bring excitement back to the games. I mean, seriously, if someone can win an Olympic gold medal in trampoline, these Vegas sports are definitely medal worthy:
Stripper Biathlon: I'm sure I read on Wikipedia somewhere that the original Olympic games in ancient Greece had something similar to the Stripper Biathlon, but maybe that was the Heraea Games.
In the modern Stripper Biathlon, instead of long-distance running and shooting guns, athletes have pole and lap with all events being performed in six-inch acrylic high heels.
In the pole portion of the event, competitors must perform a 4:13 routine to Prince's "Darling Nikki." Contestants will be judge on creativity, stamina and full use of the pole.
The lap portion is almost marathonic similar to the cross country running portion of the officially sanctioned biathlon. Contestants can choose music of their liking to perform a 2:30 lap dance for each judge. With 10 judges, that's more than 20 minutes of lap dancing. Unless of course the judges have some extra twenty-dollar bills, in which case, the contestants can stay longer dancing for each judge.
Where to Find Stripper Biathlon in Vegas: Scores, Sapphire, Spearmint Rhino, Olympic Garden
Synchronized Dance Floor: How many times have you walked into a Vegas club and seen two attractive girls on the dance floor doing the exact same dance in almost the exact same revealing outfit? That's the wonderful sport of Synchronized Dance Floor. Contestants are judged on attractiveness, costumes, dance moves, synchronization and ability to hold liquor.
There are three rounds of the competition with a shot of Patron before during and after each round. That third round is where many an Olympic dream ends in unconsciousness, nausea-related activity or calling ex-boyfriends.
Where to Find Synchronized Dance Floor in Vegas: The Bank, Tabu, TAO, Moon/Playboy Club, VooDoo
Acrobatic Gymnastics: I think this sport has the best shot of making it. With all of the Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas, some of the world's best gymnasts are performing live in Vegas almost every night. Women's Gymnasitcs are always one of the biggest television draws at any Summer Olympic games. This year, millions of Americans will tune in to see Alicia Sacramone, Chellsie Memmel, Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson bring gymnastics gold back to the United States. While I respect their athleticism and commitment to the support, I think some of the Cirque du Soleil performances are much more difficult and plus you get much cooler music like The Beatles in Love instead of some of the stuff they play on the floor exercises.
Where to Find Acrobatic Gymnastics in Vegas: O, Ka, Love, Le Reve | Get Tickets
Competitive Eating: Nathan's on Coney Island gets all the eating buzz every summer with the hot dog eating competition, but with all of the buffets in Vegas, there is no reason Sin City shouldn't be the center of the competitive eating world. And this is one sport, I wouldn't mind training for.
Where to Find Competitive Eating in Vegas: City's Best Buffets
UFC: So the sport should really be called mixed-martial arts (MMA), but UFC is the first name in MMA and has some interesting elements like the Octagon. Almost all of the historic UFC battles have been waged on Vegas soil, er, sand. After all, UFC is headquartered here, but it has become an international phenomenon.
The official Summer Olympics has judo, taekwondo and wrestling, but nothing that combines them all together in a fenced Octagon. Again, not to discount any of the hard work the Olympians put into their training, but I'd put my money on Chuck Liddell over any of the gold medalists from those three official Olympic events. In fact, I think The Iceman might be able to take all three of them at once.
Plus the bonus of having UFC in the summer Olympics: Octagon Girls.
These are just of the of the Vegas games that, if added, would actually make the Olympics fun to watch again. And really, they don't have to even be summer games. These Vegas activities are just as great in winter.
If it's too late for them to be in rotation for London 2012, maybe they'll make the cut for Rio 2016 or who knows, Vegas 2024?
Vegas Pool Season '08: Oh Yeah, You Can Swim, Too
Over the last couple of seasons, the buzz was about nightclub groups managing pools (Pure-Venus, TAO-TAO Beach, Light-Bare) and "European style sunbathing" (READ: topless). I guess the Euro to dollar exchange rate finally took it's toll and people are now either saying the word "topless" or "luxurious" instead of the syllable-laden "European style sunbathing."This year the buzz is all about bigger is better. The parties are bigger and even the first 'ultra pool" has been dug.
Here is the annual preview of this season's hottest, chlorinated spots in Vegas:
Bare (Video Preview) at the Mirage went from soft launch to grand opening with a party that included a set from DJ Donald Glaude. "Lose the Tan Lines" is the message from Light Group, the nightlife empire who is responsible for all this topless-turvy. While ladies in other cities have to go bake under the lamps for an April glow, Vegas ladies can go au naturelle when soaking in the au naturelle rays of the sun.Another nightlife empire, Pure Management Group, brings you another "luxurious" season of Venus Pool Club (Video Preview) at Caesars. I don't know if it's the whole Roman, opulence theme at the resort, but Venus has always felt a little more refined. It has the same elements -- DJ, pampering, poolside cocktails -- as other parties, but it's not so "party 'til you puke' here. It's worth noting that hotel guests get in free, except Saturdays.
The world-famous Rehab (Video Preview) party at the Hard Rock is also on Sundays. It's very much a "gone wild" atmosphere and that's why I and everyone (except maybe N.O.W., A.A. and Greenpeace) loves it.
Since most thongs don't have calculator holsters, it's worth noting the pricing scheme can be confusing and it looks like that's back. There are different prices for gender and geography, but a certain number of hotel guests can get in free.
It's also worth noting, camera crews will be roaming the silicone sand this year filming for "Rehab: The Movie" so make sure you don't pick your nose, butt or do anything else you don't want showing up before god and creation.

If you can't afford your boss, spouse, mother, deity, etc. to see you on late-night reality TV, then TAO Beach (Video Preview) may be a Sunday option for you. It's a pretty place for pretty people and you can experience all of the aesthetics at their Sunday's Sunset Sessions.
The Sunset Session always confused me because they run from 10AM to 5PM -- after sunrise and before sunset. But by the time I get there and start cocktailing, my apprehensions about the correct position of the sun in the day sky disappears like the olive in my very dirty martini.

Mandalay Bay has always, in my mind, been really good at this whole summer fun thing. They were topless before topless was cool with Moorea. Now it's all known as Mandalay Beach (Video Preview) and while most other casinos have poolside and swim-up gambling, Mandalay Bay built an entire three-story beach casino.
This year could go down as the year of the "ultra pool." Wet Republic at MGM Grand is the first Vegas pool labeled as such. Whether it's a marketing tag or the standard for all future ultra pools (like Tabu was for ultra lounges) remains to be seen. What we do know is that it's over 50,000 square feet of "daylife" -- like nightlife but during the day. There are eight pools, six V.I.P. bungalows, a lot of space for concerts and even a 2,500 square feet open-air ultra lounge.

Former Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees Girl on Girl Birthday Kiss Video
It's Tuesday, and you know what that means. It's time for some girl-on-girl kissing action with former Miss Nevada USA Katie Rees.
OK, so today being Tuesday has nothing to do with our desire to share this Raw Vegas video with you. And, yes, maybe the headline oversells it a bit since we're used to seeing a little more of Katie Rees than this -- remember the Katie Rees nude scandal? But, c'mon, it's still two girls sharing a special birthday moment, and in Vegas, that's OK.

Vegas Heat Index: Brittany's Hot Video; Britney's Louisiana Girl Blues; Hackers Among Us and Celebrity Part-Time Vegas Jobs

Here are the hot topics in Vegas and the Vegas blogosphere:
Brittany Snow Video
Vegas Heat Index: 145 in the Shade
As 'Hairspray' continues to hold firm at the box office (with more than $63 million in ticket sales), one of the stars is spreading her aqueous net of charm over Vegas. 'Hairspray' star Brittany Snow is looking fit and glam on the August cover of VEGAS Magazine and RawVegas.tv published video footage from her sexy photo shoot (above).
There's also reason to go to your the bookshop and buy a copy of VEGAS Magazine. I'm taking this straight from the media alert because it is perfect as written: "In the printed edition of VEGAS Magazine, Brittany also talks about her new movie 'Black Water Transit' where she claims she wears nothing the entire time and has sex with everyone."
Louisiana Girl BluesVegas Heat Index: 116
The Spears family just won't listen to Britney. She even covered a song where it was very clear that the choices she makes during her journey in life is "her prerogative." And yet, they reportedly tried to hold an intervention gathering en masse in Vegas.
On one chicken-greased hand, I can see their concern. If Anna Nicole's family had been so loving would she still be here? Maybe. Maybe not. On the other chicken-greased hand, it's no big deal. Well, the big deal is that interests like OK! Magazine are making big deals out of little deals to sell celebrity-induced comas to the masses.
With Britney's divorce, she could turn it around before she goes Garbo or Jacko on everyone, but disappearing for awhile wouldn't be the worst thing. LA, Vegas, New York or Kentwood are not places where she can clear her head.
Louisiana girls are some of the finest creatures in existence. When they get wild, things are likely to get out of control and that's not necessarily a bad thing. When people around them think they need to get back on track, the normal methods of intervention won't work. You have to start by listening. She shaved her head for a reason. It's her prerogative.
Look for some more of Britney's prerogatives when she hosts the grand opening of LAX in Vegas at the Luxor.
Rock on Britney Spears.
Hackers Among Us
Vegas Heat Index: Classified
Given the slow Internet movement in Vegas, it's ironic that Vegas hosts two of the biggest computer security-related conferences, in back-to-back affairs no less. The first one is for security professionals and is called Black Hat. First rule about Black Hat is "you don't talk about Black Hat." Not really, but it sounded clever. It's perfectly OK to blog about Black Hat.
Vegas Celebrity Part-Time Jobs
Vegas Heat Index: 122
If you're a celebrity and in the market for a part-time job, Vegas is the place. Read about TV stars Pam, Tony, Jenny, John and Wayne and how they are "making ends meet."

Hotter Than Hot: Vegas Pool Guide 2007

Ah, the smell of chlorine, cocoa butter, peroxide and margarita in the air can only mean one thing: It's pool season in Vegas. Now that Rehab (above), one of the biggest pool parties in the country, is open for another season at the Hard Rock , Sin City officially becomes Skin City. It's the time of the year when the days in Vegas start to get as hot (literally and figuratively) as the nights.
This year, the Vegas ''watering hole'' trends pick up where last season ended and it's clear that pools aren't just for swimming anymore. When you're here this summer, keep an eye out as the topless trend goes wild, nightclubs expand their brands and stuff so much entertainment poolside, it's like Ron Jeremy trying to fit into a Speedo.
Vintage Burlesque Bumps and Grinds in Vegas
Las Vegas is sexy, but that's not a news flash.
Sexy is pitched from the moment you land at the airport with images of flesh, silk and feathers to the fleet of roaming billboards where provocative pitches for sexy shows are mixed in with ads for Carrot Top and George Wallace. The restaurants are seductive, the nightclubs like JET, TAO and PURE are seas of sexiness and gentlemen's clubs like Scores need no introduction.
In fact, one of Sin City's most appreciated icons is the Las Vegas showgirl which can still be found in grins-and-bare-it topless revues like Jubilee!, Crazy Girls and MGM Grand's Crazy Horse Paris.
They don't call it the Las Vegas Strip for nothing.
It's at Crazy Horse Paris, where the International Queen of Burlesque Dita Von Teese will shine her bright spotlights on one of the
sexiest artforms in the country right now, vintage burlesque. She was the first guest star in the history of the fabled revue last year in both Vegas and Paris and is returning for a string of shows (Apr. 15, 16, 18, 19, 22, 23) where she will perform the 'Le Bain' routine. Anyone with a little high school French or memories of Bain de la Soleil suntan oil commercials knows that 'le bain' is French for 'the bath,' which means Dita will be awash in bubbles in a bathtub on the Crazy Horse Paris stage at the MGM Grand.
That just may be the last bit of proof we need to confirm the existence of a higher being.
A Day in the Life of an X Girl by Shakeera Onstead

Waking up to the sound of the alarm has got to be the most annoying sound to a dancer. After hitting snooze three times and waiting till the very last second I finally get out of bed. Being that it's 9:20AM and I have rehearsal at 10AM, I quickly jump in the shower and dash to the Flamingo Hotel.
Even though the show has been open for a few weeks, we as dancers, are always trying to better our routines. Under the direction of JJ Villar, we review all our dance numbers, make sure our spacing on stage is perfect, and change anything that needs to be changed to make the routine work.
While all of this is going on, the technical crew is also working hard to light our show so that production value is added. According to the tech crew, in order for the 'lighting to be perfect' they need to test it directly on our bare skin requiring us drop our pants quite often during rehearsal. Sometimes a little too often.
'X Burlesque' Up Close & Personal

The 'X Show' was created in 2002 and since has developed a world-wide following. The X Girls did a tour of South America in Santiago, Chile and Bogotá and Cali, Columbia last year. The X Show has also performed across the US from Lake Tahoe, Cal., Ute Mountain, Col. to the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. They are scheduled to perform in Laughlin, Nev. in April and Lac du Flambeau, Wis. in August.
'X Burlesque' is now playing at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The Flamingo president, Don Marrandino, known as the man with the Midas touch, brought the sexy revue to the famed resort. "The X Girls are a talented group of gorgeous dancers and their new Burlesque project brings an energetic and sexy production to the resort."
Hugh Hefner's Birthday Party Photos Vegas Recap
Night two of Hugh Hefner's Vegas birthday bash was HQ'd at the Playboy Club and Moon Nightclub atop the Fantasy Tower at the Palms where Hef and his 'Girl Next Door' girlfriends held court after dinner at N9NE Steakhouse.
Holly, Bridget and Kendra stood on the furniture to toast Hef while Holly looked ravishing in her party dress and Kendra got a DJ lesson from DJ R.O.B. earlier and then rocked the turntables at the party. Even Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky Hilton stopped by to wish Hef a happy birthday.
Other party stars included Edward Norton, Jeff Ross, Joel McHale, Jeff Garcia, David Copperfield, Stephan Lessard, Jon Lovitz, Baywatchers David Hasselhoff and Donna D'Errico.
The lines to get in the club were massive until 4AM.
The 'Do Not Disturb' signs at the Palms will be very much in use tonight and tomorrow morning as the festivities for day three of Hef's birthday celebration center around a Playmate Sleepover at the Palms.

Hugh Hefner's 81st Birthday Weekend in Vegas Starts at LOVE
Hugh Hefner celebrated day one of his 81st Birthday weekend at The Beatles LOVE musical by Cirque du Soleil at The Mirage with his three girlfriends and stars of 'The Girls Next Door' Holly, Bridget and Kendra. Also in attendance were Hef's brother and a handful of Playmates.
As if to prove the rumors that they will marry this fall, Hef exclusively cuddled with Holly throughout the show and for the finale, the entire group stood clapping and singing along to "All You Need Is Love" with them pointing at Holly and Hef!!
Backstage, Hef and the Girls were greeted by the entire cast singing "Happy Birthday," and he was presented with a LOVE Birthday cake created by Jean Phillipe Patisserie at the neighboring Bellagio resort.
Keeping Up WIth the 'Crazy Girls' by Norbert Aleman, Karen Raider and the Girls

As told to PR Guru Wayne Bernath:
Producer Norbert Aleman has gone over the top during the 20th anniversary of 'Crazy Girls' at the Riviera as he plans to begin filming 'Crazy Girls Undercover' on June 11th featuring four of the 'Crazy Girls.' Eliset Lobato, Rayma Alfred, Lindsay Mannooch and Therese Chafe will be featured in this action film. Hollywood mastermind Alan Margulies, who managed such stars as Ann-Margret, Burt Reynolds, Englebert Humperdinck and Wayne Newton, is organizing the project.
Casting just completed in LA. The director is Stephen Wesley Bridgewater who has directed and produced 18 films. If this is a big success in Las Vegas, plans for a sequel next year will be filmed in New Orleans.
Robin's Royal Rundown: St. Patrick's Day Edition

The flawless Miss Hooters International, Michelle Nunes, is hosting Teeny Weenie String Bikini contest beginning at 5PM at Hooters Casino. A group of 25 lucky girls will compete in three rounds including: cocktail attire, bikini attire and well, bikini again (because it's more fun that way) for a top prize of $1,000. Guest judges include Spike Radio personalities UNLV Coach Jerry Tarkanian, Casey Freelove and Corey Olson. who will kick off the festivities at noon with a live remote at the pool.
Carrot Top takes his curly red hair to the wearing of the green at the Henderson St. Paddy's Day parade as grand marshal.
Nine Fine Irishmen at NY-NY are in the middle of a a three-day Celtic Festival celebrating St. Patrick's Day presided over by Grand Marshall Erik Amblad. Expect live entertainment from Elevation, Sin E RiRa, the Celtic Rockers and more and be sure to save room for the Guinness.
Festivities at Lake Las Vegas focus on Irish arts traditions rather than the typical 'Leprechauns Gone WIld' approach. Irish singer and culture expert Ashley Davis hosts a workshop from 1-3PM and closes the show with Irish songs, stories and poetry with performances on the hour starting at 4PM by the Fearon O'Connor School of Irish Dance.
Babes and Bikinis: The Pool Opens at the Palms

Palms president George Maloof beats all the competition today by opening his resort hotel's three-acre $30-million pool, officially kicking off an all new season of hot summer days and nights. The sexy adult playground will launch its Friday "take the day off" Ditch party as of May 18. N9NE Steakhouse chef Barry Dakake is promising a new menu for the new season. The Palms is also home to the world's only Playboy Club -- at least until a sister salon opens in Macau -- and 'Heroes' hunk Milo Ventimiglia (seen below) was enjoying himself with the bunnies and at the blackjack tables when he visited!
